Ritesh + Anastasiia | A multicultural wedding in Colorado

Wedding at Boulder Creek in Colorado

This wedding that I captured was truly special and unforgettable. The couple, Anastasiia and Ritesh, come from different backgrounds - Anastasiia is Ukrainian and Ritesh is Indian. They chose to embrace both of their cultures by having two separate ceremonies.

The first ceremony was a traditional Indian ceremony, which took place at a local Singh Sabha. It was a colorful and lively event, filled with vibrant clothing, intricate rituals, and joyful moments. We were able to capture the essence of this incredible celebration, preserving the cultural heritage and traditions.

The second ceremony was a western ceremony with Ukrainian traditions woven into it. It was held at Boulder Creek by Wedgewood Weddings, a beautiful location that added to the enchantment of the day. The merging of two cultures was evident in every detail, from the decorations to the music, and it was truly heartwarming to witness.

After the ceremonies, we took some time to capture the couple's love in the serenity of their favorite park and at Chautauqua. These moments allowed us to create timeless photos, encapsulating their love and the joy they shared together.

What made this wedding even more special was the couple's journey of coming together amidst personal and political tragedies. Their story touched our hearts deeply, and it made us appreciate the power of love and resilience.

Not only were Anastasiia and Ritesh amazing, but their families were also incredibly sweet. They embraced each other's traditions with open arms, creating a beautiful atmosphere of unity and love.

As a photographer, it was an honor to be a part of this multicultural celebration. Capturing the moments that will be cherished for a lifetime is what makes this job so rewarding. We strive to create images that are not only visually stunning but also timeless, so that the memories of this special day can be treasured for generations to come.
